Soft Landing: A Matrescence Circle for New Moms

You’ve given birth, but where did you go?

Matrescence is the often-invisible transformation of becoming a mother*—physically, emotionally, relationally, and spiritually. It’s a profound shift, and it deserves to be witnessed.

Soft Landing is a 5-week support circle for new moms navigating the in-between space of identity, body, relationship, and self. Together, we’ll slow down, breathe, share, and find belonging in the complexity of this season. I created this space because I didn’t want to mother alone, and I don’t want you to, either. You don’t have to have the words yet. Just come as you are.

Wednesdays, Sept 3 – Oct 1, 2025
1:00 – 2:30 PM CST via Telehealth

Each 90-minute session will include:

- Gentle somatic practices to reconnect with your body

- Time for honest, facilitated group sharing

- Themes like identity shifts, anger + grief, boundaries, and nervous system care

Cost: In network with BCBS PPO and Aetna PPO, self-pay rate is $60/session ($300 total).

*Anyone who identifies as a new mom is welcome, and some weeks will explore the neurochemical and hormonal changes that birthing parents undergo.
